Donovan Andrews is an illustrator, designer and creative director based in the quaint New England college town of Middlebury, Vermont. After an amazing childhood growing up in the Green Mountains and Champlain Valley of Vermont, Donovan graduated from Marywood University, earning a BFA in Design with a focus in Illustration. A printmaker, painter, and accomplished digital artist, Donovan has over 25 years of experience in creative direction; logo and identity design; children's, editorial and product illustration; paper, stationery, and home office; fabric by the yard surface pattern design; and baby, home, and bath textiles.
One of Donovan's earliest and fondest memories is of the trips to the local library that he and his mother would take each week. After story time, Donovan would come home with more picture books than his little arms could carry. It was through those pages that his love of reading and art took seed. Later in his childhood his father, an accomplished draftsman, taught him to draw. Somewhere in the Andrews' archives is a drawing of a horse - the first thing that they drew together.
